Jamu and AylaMichele have completed their AKC Conformation requirements
and are now champions! Jamu and AylaMichele share our home with another Rhodesian Ridgeback (RR) named Star and now
our latest member "Dolly". Star and Dolly are currently on the show circuit working towards her AKC championship.
Star earned her Senior Coursing (SC) Title on March 30th, 2008 and now we
have two SCs at JusticeRidge.
It was Jamu that started this whole journey into showing and
raising Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Tina initially gave Jamu to Chuck as a retirement gift after Chuck retired with 30 years
of service with the Department of Justice (DOJ) where we met. The fact our careers and beginning of our lives together
were built at "Justice" ... we decided to give our journey into the Ridgeback world the name of "JusticeRidge".
I am a member in the Bay Area Rhodesian Ridgeback Club (BARRC)
and Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States (RRCUS). I wanted to be more involved so I took on the job as
BARRC's Recording Secretary. This has allowed me to meet additional RR folks who have been willing to share
their wealth of knowledge and experiences with the RRs.
Our dogs are OFA certified for hip dysplasia,
elbows, cardiac and thyroid. All have been owner/handler shown in the rings to earn their AKC championships.
It has been a journey and experience of a life time. The joy and pride our RRs have given us have been priceless.
